What is the best wirelees card? Just ingeneral, that can pick up ANY signal within range and actually keep it without disconnecting after a couple of hours. I mean it doesn't have to be a special brand that works with any special router. Like a Netgear or a Linksys. I am talking about every brand like Gigabyte, MSI, etc. Anything will work like I have been saying.

I just need it to keep a connection at all times. Thanks for the help guys.

I need this for a DESKTOP PC! Please help.

The one I have is weak. I need to get a newer one or maybe I should just upgrade my router.

Bump Bump a BUMP..

Did I mention the one I have has a broken antenna?

I really have no idea. Well, a couple days ago I go to check to see if I can make my signal better, then I tried to move it and the whole thing came out of the card, I mean like the antenna with the part where you screw it on to.

Go with linksys, stay away from D Link. I've had D Link stuff and it's kinda slow, though it always does work. I've recently switched over to linksys.

SOOOOOO In conclusion, buy a Linksys 802.11g/b (whichever your network is) pci card. Hell, if you wanted you could spend $120 and get a wireless bridge.

Netgear, Dlink and Linksys are all pretty good. Might vary with the configuration. I know different routers can reach farther than others. Haven't really seen much info on this with cards though.

If you can't reach the destination though, try looking into wireless bridges or range extenders (plug into the wall for AC midway between and rebroadcast the signal).
