My friends and I were debating the best Zombie movie of all time recently during lunch.

My vote was for Shaun of the Dead. It has everything! I think so at least. It's really funny and gets creepy and scary at parts too. Plus, how can you beat the scene where they beat a zombie to a Queen song.

My friend thinks Zombieland beats Shaun of the Dead. Though it does have a super cameo, it still doesn't beat Shaun of The Dead.

I haven't seen Zombieland - my vote definitely goes for Shaun of the Dead.

Listen lady, you can expect these kinds of repercussions if you keep trying to poach our people.

Anyway, while I'm pretty sure you're not a bot, I see many similar posts (by you or probably you under a different name) asking about popular opinions on various other forums, in the exact same manner.

I deem you malicious. You don't care about our forum, you'll never post again, you just want opinions for your work.

Am I the only one who finds it suspicious that you're telling us the name of the place you work, and naming the thread after the place you work, as if that has ANYTHING to do with the topic?

It's such a pathetic attempt to hide the fact that you're making these threads for your work when you so conveniently hide it with "oh my co-workers and I were just talking..."

Now I can only hope the mods see you the same way.

Edit: claps for glenn

the best movie is THE ZOMBIENATOR which is directed by me starring me and aria giovanni as the lady in distress that have wild sex whit the protagonist played by me while blasting zombies in a convertible 50's cadillac eldorado on the moon

I still have to conctact the producers and have half page of the script but is going to beat all zombie moives and not just zombie movies but everything,it will be the second citizen kane of history

I am located in California I have experienced the same problems with this company as many of you have I am interested in filing a suit against these people and definately Ms. Dickinson, she is the worst person that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. UNPROFESSIONAL can't describe this BEAST. Frauds like National Advertising Center needs to STOP!!! please contact me if you have any information regarding a class action suit.

are you Ms. Dickinson? if so can I stick my wee wee in your pooper? you're such a BEAST that I'm sure you could take it to the hilt

Hey this Lisa lass is one loose cannon. I don't like the cut of her jib but hey I like this topic so I've stripped down the keywords she planted for google search boosts, and just left the zombie topic.

What is the excitement about zombieland all about? I think it looks really silly from the trailers, whereas SOTD is something else. Simon Pegg > Woody Harrelson

Did I miss it when zombie movie started to mean zombie movie parody? I'd vote Night of the Living Dead, actually. As far as zombie drama goes, nothing ever really surpassed the original.

Can anyone name that Nazi zombie movie were these Mercenaries go to Russia, and are attacked by undead Nazis in an abandoned Base in the forest.

No love for 28 Days? It's either Shaun or that.

EDIT: Actually, I'm very tempted to say *REC.

EDIT: Tesher, you may be thinking about The Bunker. I didn't know it was about zombies, for thanks for spoiling it, you dick.

I feel like most Zombie movies are too terrible to ever be taken seriously.

Really, though? How many are there? The big ones I can think of are the of the Dead movies, plus remake, and the two 28s. All of them are pretty good. Wait, I forgot that there are more Dead films than the first three. Whatever, everything after Day doesn't exist.

In any case, the whole thing about Shaun (and Hot Fuzz as well) is that it manages to be a great genre movie while also being a great genre pisstake. That gang's films may rib their genres mercilessly but they are always grounded in a deep and genuinely love for the original models.

I have to agree. While I love Shaun Of The Dead it would never ever be the best zombie movie for me. I wouldn't even call it a zombie movie. It's a comedy.

Yes, because the whole concept of zombie is so high class. You don't have to put the sticker "parody" in a movie for it to be parody either.

I'm holding out until WWZ is released, then I think I might find the best Zombie movie of all time.

I had high hopes for that, given the screenplay was being written by JMS. But it's being rewritten by Matt Carnahan, who sucks, and being directed by Marc Forster, whose track record I'd consider less than good.

The original Dawn for it's atmosphere and music. Love that film.

Day is pretty cracking, too.

saw a bunch of zombie movies last week (from a list of zombie movies on wiki I googled up) and the best is probably dawn of the dead or 28 days later.

Dawn Of The Dead (original)
28 Days/Weeks Later
Shaun Of The Dead
Zombieland

All those are my favourite ones, comedy's or not, they have zombies in.
I watched Doghouse the other night, which is another UK zombie comedy. It was pretty crappy bar a couple of funny bits but nowhere near the level of Shaun or Zombieland.

Flesh Eaters, uncut version. Eyeball v splinter = \o/.

Then Day of the Dead.

I am a fan of the original Night of the Living Dead, however, without the baby zombie scene Dawn of the Dead remake is spectacular.

In terms of silliness- Braindead/ Dead Alive and Evil Dead 2.

Shaun of the dead is my fav.

Other greats are:
-zombieland
-dawn/day of the dead
-28 days later (though technically not a zombie movie)
-rec (also might not be considered a zombie movie)

Gotta go with Shaun of the Dead, with either of the Dawn of the Deads as a close second. 28 Days Later is up there too.

I still need to see Zombieland.

Classic scene. Also, the part with the baby stroller in the park is both an awesome and a wtf scene. Still great though.
