Story.

Gist: Its lower than ever--32%. Anyone want to bet on how low it goes before anything is done (if anything is done at all)?!

If it goes under 10%, he's done (hopefully), but I say it probably won't go under 18%.

(And yes, I know there is a thread about the rating already--this one is about betting on how low it will go before something is done.)

well I dont think it'll change much even if his rating hits the single digits mark ..I mean if americans would even hold him accountable for criminal behaviour approval ratings isnt that big of a deal ..nothing he could be held accountable for ..the neo-cons will just stick in another stooge and you'll have another 4 years of the same policies as the bush admin has now ..it's inevitable, they've just grown way too strong

my guess it'll hit the high twenties but probably no further than that as bush can always pull the "we have credible evidence terrorists are poised to strike at the heart of america!" routine and his approval rating will soar once more ...the american public as a collective has ADD

he'll probably launch an attack on us again like he did on 911 to bring his approval rating up. I got 50 bones on 20%

Sebastian , your an idiot if you really think Bush launched an attack on the US and somehow got everyone to believe that Osama was behind the whole thing.

Unfortunately I think you are probably right. These ratings don't actually mean anything after all. Still, the American Public would be wise to take a close look at them and try to discern why he is doing such a bad job. This might, in turn, lead them to think that someone else with a different agenda and different policies and different affiliations might be able to bring the country back from the monumental downslide that it has been on these last 5.5 years.

Or this all might be too much to ask...;(

and ^you two above me here^--stay on target!

If Bush is capable of masterminding the biggest coverup in the entire worlds history and pull it off flawlessly, then why can't he pull some WMDs out of his ass and say they found em in Iraq?

good point but please for the love of god ..NO CONSPIRACY DISCUSSIONS ..jesus get your own thread

it will probably never go below 30%, there are too many sheeple who will go along with anything he does. what i want to know is why his rating was so high after 911.

I can't really imagine how much lower this mans approval rating will sink. I can only really comment from my own personal stand point. That being every time I see him on Television now, it is only the fact that my young children are around that stop me from launching a volley of obscenities towards the TV.

I seem to conjure up this mental image of somebody leaping onto the stage, grabbing him by the collars and punching him very hard while screaming

“SHUT UP, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD……… JUST SHUT UP"

Maybe it's just me but I get the impression he's not very popular.

Any president's would be. If it was Al Gore, McCain, or anyone else it would've been that high after 9/11. Assuming they didn't do something like spit on a victim or something incredibly stupid.

Plus the nation's politics at least grassroots/people's concerns were far more focused on domestic issues, it's shifted to foreign/war now.

With the couple of new 9/11 tear-jerker movies and the new bin laden tapes, his approval ratings are probably about as low as they go. They should start climbing again, that is of course, unless we get more dead and higher gasoline prices.

Which is happening as we speak.
