Don't you just love it?
I was in complete awe when i saw it.
I allways liked the intros from the previous titles but they've really outdone themselves with this one.
I thought that i was watching a movie trailer for an upcoming blockbuster movie for the first few secs at the begining.
It gave me goosebumbs when i started hearing the new remix of the BF theme song at the start and the outro.
(Logos turning into planets,Bf2 logo fading in at the end)
*dum dum dum du dum dum...:)
Great Stuff!I especially love the Instrumental/Oriental tracks (with a little touch of the bf theme song) that play during the map loads.
Kudos to the ingame cinematographers and the musicians. :)

if only the game actually ran like that with no stuttering/lag. hey, a man can dream... :|

It does, on a halfway decent PC, and not on release day.

Is the intro the same as the trailer? Where the Chinese are attacking that building and eventually the US artilleries it?

yeah the demo always looked and ran like the intro for me, just the full game needs a lil breathing room as thousands of people login and rape the servers ;P

Very very cool intro. I love the fact that is all done in game and viewed with battlerecorder...means we can make stuff like that with what we have in game already!

that's how the game is supposed to be played, unfortunatly nobody does it. Why don't people team in up sqauds? And nobody does the commander, well i do, because nobody else does it. It's so incredably useful. You can see everywhere send attacks to blow a path while you run away, even--basically--wall hack with it. I mean you can see behind wall with it, why nobody wants to do it is beyond me.

I played the Daqing Oilfields (or whatever one was in the vid) and it was exactly like the movie- it was so awesome.

I reckon allot of people don't command cause it distracts them from whatever they want to do. Good commanders will be able to multi-task.

Whenever I command I do solely that. Pretty much our team knows where every enemy is when I'm at it ;)

Yeah! The intro movie was awesome! I even like how they included pieces of the bf1492 menu soundtrack.

Oh yeah, no one does commander :(.
If they do, they tk like crazy cuz they don't do scans before they make an arty strike, or they don't do anything and no one cares enough to vote mutiny against them :( :( .
The worst part is, no one knows that commanders give a team a huge advantage :( :( :( .

I think it needs time.. i seriously doubt anyone will play serious on release day.. give it a couple of weeks and you'l get alot more clans and organized play..

man i love playing in squads, youfeel important playing a role like medic or support. or just fly for your squad. it brings warm feelings to my heart whenever i am in a blackhawk and i hear "I need a pickup" and i ceck the map and see my squad pinned down in a group, rushing towards the scene picking them up so that they can shoot their stalkiers with the hawks machineguns..

Am I the only one that really wanted to hear the BF2 remix of the BF1942 theme?
