so just installed my old copy of BF1942 and I installed the 1.6 patch when I join any server it says I have a wrong version and when I click update nothing happens.
They may not be supporting an update server for it anymore. Been forever since I played 1942. I don't know what the latest version is. Try finding it online with a direct download to get and install it.
