BF2 Mods?

anyone know of any planned mods for BF2? DC kept bf1942 alive for years ..what do you think will be the next DC?

I can see a WWII mod being made. Sure would be interesting. Maybe even a Vietnam mod. I dont see why the mod community wouldnt want to port previous BF games into this new engine. It may actually make BF:V fun again!

If I'm not mistaken...a team is starting a mod called Desert Conflict to try and pick up and carry the torch that DC left.

So far I'm not terribly impressed with the models but I'm guessing they'll get better.

Yeah. My guess is they're gonna implement the vehicles and weapons that they wished were in BF2 and change helo physics back to DC-style (or close) and make some new maps.

I'd like to see a futuristic mod, wich is only the logical folow up for BF² just something with their own style you know, no fan mods like starwars or something just something cool and unique.

saw one that looked cool, Battlefield Apocalypse, not sure if they're still around or not though.

there's one Dice have contracted out to make night maps with night vision, infrared. etc.(Because they took it out of the final release) Cant remember what it's called tho. SHould be pretty awesome.

I don't want any mods until I can play BF2 without lag, these ranked servers are just crazy laggy
