BF2 retail and xfire

is it working for anyone? me, it doesn't even show my friends are in the game, let alone status of the server.

How the hell did you even get it? Was gamestop selling it early?

I would imagine that demo players can't play with retail players. The retail game probably has a bit of changes to the engine. And since the retail game isn't even out, nobody has any servers running.

Many people have retail today, including stores that sell early and fan sites. There are plenty of servers open, I imagine, to warm them up for large use tomorrow.
