No release date yet but it's exclusive to fileplanet subscribers...
Not sure if it will be exclusive to them always or whether or not it will be free to download from other sites later. Have to wait and see.

You can always sign up for one month then cancel your suscription right away, sometimes it's worth it.

How can you even say that? Vietnam sucked ass, however BF2 is an awesome game. Why should 2142 be more like Vietnam?

I suppose so, but that seems a bit far stretched reason to think that 2142 is going to suck.. "Oh, well in the past they have followed such a pattern, the prophecy will surely come true!"

There is pretty much more in this game than there is in BF2... I wouldn't call it a mod.

Theres about 40 unlocks... i think 43 ranks... LOTS of medal, ribbons and badges... Which now help you rank up rather than sit there and look pretty. Brand new game mode which looks awesome, maps, vehicles, its in the future!

You dont own Special Forces, Euro Force or Armored Fury, did you? Cause that was $10 for some skins and a couple maps

Remember the good old days where EA would give free maps in patches? Ahh, Coral Sea...Aberdeen...Market Garden....those were the good days...

Actually Market Garden was included in the retail version, but they are giving us a free map with 1.4: road to jalalabad.

And what's 10$ for some more content. It's not like they're asking for a monthly suscription fee.
