it is looking OK. I still think RTW looks better but BFME might be a fun one. I know I will be picking it up at least.

Yar RTW looks fun for strategy but I love the hole middle earth thing.

BFME has really pulled its socks up compared to how it started looking.

However I would say RTW is the closest comparision to BFME, it's often said as such because of the massives of troops. However it really doesn't look like its going to play very similar. For example in RTW Archers let of volleys of indirect fire raining arrows down on their foe. In BFME they look like having a more direct fire method comon to the majority of games.

BFME looks more like Myth supercharged on steriods to me at least. And considering how much I loved Myth its all good.

I didn't like the demo to RTW much at all. So I'm hoping for big things from BFME.

I also think Rome: Total War will be the better game. I like strategy games to be realistic, and that's something Total War will be without a doubt.

Damn, just watched all the "Inside the Battle" movies. This game looks like its shaping up very nicely. The animation is awesome!

Yah, you really have to watch all the movies there and see how far they are going away from the standard RTS I love the barracks levels and stuff. I hope to god they manage to find a way so that all those guys that only build one type of unit burn in the fires of hell. Nothing ruins a game like that more than seeing some unimagitive 12 year old sending all one type of unit at you, it just takes away from the games so much.
