BIG bug with Opposing Force

I was just playing OF and I have encounted this bug many times but I thought it was only on one elevator BUT it happens to all elevators

The Problem

Whenever you get on an elevator that goes down by the time you finish your joyus ride, you are magically glued to the ground...

The Solution

While you are going downwards on the elevator. Jump up and down repeativley till the elevator is finished moving and you will be on your way







I know this is old but I might post this to tell the people who are very new to the game (I am stuck in that tunnel like Wraith was )

Yeah, this sucks, and it is in Halflife, also.
It usually works ok if you can jump out of the elevator
at times, but it just sucks!

Happened to me in Half-Life. I have a bug in Opposiong Force where if you get to a certain point it crashes for no apparent reason, bitch.

I had this problem in every single elevator. HL and OpFor. I can't believe they never fixed it.

That happened to me on most the elevators in Opposing Force. Happened maybe once in Half-Life... although with Half-Life I had more problems with getting stuck between the rail and the car.

Happens to me. I have to fire my weapon in order to get out. It's really annoying when there's enemies to fight and I can't maneuver to fight.

Never once, in HL, Op4 or BS happened to me. I've heard about it happening to others though.

I didn't get this problem when I got the game years ago, but now since i've downloaded off Steam I get the problem all the time. Valve really should do something about it.

Happened to me on the steam version, but meh, i used noclip to get out of it. annoying bug though.

If you were strafing around in the elevator, then it´s merely Valve´s anti-bunnyhopping fix going badly wrong!

+decentjump ffs!
