I must of played this game for at least 20 hours so far and I'm only about 25% through the game. Either this game is really bloody long or I'm not used to it compared to the amount of games I've recently played that have been 6 hours long at most.

Anybody else feel the same?

Well.. without bursting your bubble, that is 25% of everything completed: story, side missions, jumps, pigeons, friend activities etc.

Having said that, the story is about 30 hours long.

But yes! The game is huge. The only game since probably Pokemon last year that has kept me going this long.

Took me 31 hours to beat the main story, that's about half the number of hours I logged in Oblivion before I got bored of it and stopped playing (which is rather impressive for JUST the main missions)

It's big, easily the biggest game I've played in a while. I mean, there's a bloody achievement for finishing the story missions in less than 30 hours. That has to tell you something.

I completed it in under 30 hours, about 27 in all I think. As I said elsewhere, I wasn't rushing for the achievement, I thoroughly enjoyed each hour and didn't rush between missions (except from about 30% to 40% where I was addicited the most ala the Three Leaf Clover area) and loved the main story, repetetive as it may be. It is a big game though, aye. Not just in story but in size. Because it's one big city it makes it really difficult to get around sometimes. In SA, you could skip between areas by taking long stretches of boring highway or just going odd road, where here it's tackle the streets or find a boat. This feels bigger than SA if you ask me.

Not to mention that it's incredibly detailed for it's size, which is very impressive. I love it.

i dont even think im halfway through...i tend to go on rampages after every mission

Yes to the OP's question, big game is big, had it since last Friday. Really loving it, I only just unlocked the second island. Driving and combat still are sketchy, combat is a pain in interiors, the camera inparticular. The scale though, SCALE!!!

The game is really big. A lot of sub missions and other things to do in the city. A really long game and sometimes boring after a while maybe after 15 hours playing.

Really ? :O

I personally loved the driving/combat and found it to be such an improvement on previous GTA games. I'll admit the camera can get a bit funny at times, but nothing too bad.
