binding keys to buy weapons

Hey guys, any 1 know how to bind keys to buy weapons? tried a few diff combinations but none have wokred so far. ive tried binding 'buy ak47' but that dont work, neither does the old way from 1.6.

also does any 1 know the console command to mute other players? mute <playername> doesnt work

if you type buy in the console it should bring up a list (don't hold me to this though)

Have they removed the ability to buy ammo in smaller quantaties or am I missing that command?

To buy an AWP with 10 rounds extra bind "f1" "awp; buyammo1"

buyammo1 = primary ammo, just like hitting the "," key
buyammo2 = secondary ammo, just like hitting the "." key

But I can't bind keys to buy equipment. Ive tried

bind "f10" "flash"
bind "f10 "buy flash"
alias flash "buy flash"
alias flash "flash"
alias flash "menuselect8; menuselect3"

None of these work. Can anyone help please?

hmm ive already tried binding keys that way. maybe its just my cs

all it doesis bring up the way to use the bind function in the console :/

make sure you are using " not ' the console wont bind with '

My Autoexec.cfg

YOU MUST CHANGE THE FILENAME of AUTOEXEC.TXT to AUTOEXEC.CFG Before putting it into your cfg folder!!!​

I have made some binds and alias keys in an autoexec.cfg
This file also has rates, updaterate, cmdrate, ragdoll collison, c4dynamiclight, voiceloopback on, and some other things. Ive been playing around with many bind configs for awhile and found these to work nicely. Here they are...



f1 famas/galil full ammo
f2 colt/ak/full ammo
f3 aug/sg552 full ammo

f4 m3 with 2 ammo (gun is really good in SOURCE and fun to use)
f5 mp5 with 2 ammo

f6 sg550/g1sg3 with 1 ammo
f7 awp with 10 shots
f8 DEagle full ammo

f9 HE Nade
f10 Flash
f11 Smoke
f12 VESTHELM
- (Key next to 0) Defuser
= All Nades
[ usp with 24 shots
] elites/fiveseven with 26 shots
\ p228 with 2 ammo

Put the file in your cstrike/cfg folder and it will automatically open everytime you start CSS. Feel free to change anything in here to make it suit your needs. Type in this file as though you were typing in console. Save and W00. You're done. Hope this will help others.

I might be forgetting some but O well. For those people that don't know how to use these, you just type in the alias in console and it will buy the weapon. For example, type vest in console and you will buy VEST + helm, type ak and you will get an AK47 with full ammo. I like the binds better but some people prefer this way.
