Heh, it's kind of sad that you have to bribe people in order to compete with google.

Or clever.

But well, I think they all do that. For example, the Google toolbar - they pay developers to add the opt-out Google bar to their installers. I know they've done it before at least. Bing, Yahoo!, Google, Ask.com, etc.

I ****ing hate those things.

Bing doesn't even stand a chance against Google anyways, but who even cares? I choose the search engine that's simple, easy, and fast, and Google has fulfilled that role for years. Bing is gasping for air like a dying fish, but Google's got a full oxygen tank, if you'll permit me the analogy.

To subject yourself to Bing to get points that go towards the Xbox.
Pass.

I use google bar. It's handy for checking my mail/reader.

Use chrome extensions for that.

And use gmail notifier for your gmail. Unless you want to only be aware of your mail while your browser is open.

This thread is now about browsers?

I have IE hanging around, so I may just install the bar for the 250 points and remove it later.

Zune Marketplace accepts MS points, so I often spend them on music.

So I caved in and did it. Might as well, only took 5 minutes to get all the available points for today.

lol I'll just get this on my dad's laptop and reap the rewards!

MUWAHAHAHAHA!.......MUWUWAHAHAHAHAHA!

but yeah how good is IE now??

Imagine: Netscape in 2010. (Honestly I haven't used it, because I see no reason to)

Also, this is slimy as hell and a contributing factor to my growing distaste for Microsoft. It seems that ever since Bill left, things have become increasingly odd in that company.

Bing is completely terrible. It's the default search engine at my work and never gets what I want, I always have to change to Google.
