could you tell me how to upgrade my bios? i've never done that so far! could you tell me the risks and advantages? where can i get information what bios exactly i have and where do i get the upgrades ?

What type of motherboard do you have ? I would only upgrade bios if i really needed it , if it had any fixes etc.

The risks = you accidently shut off computer while its flashing
advantages = Bios upgrade might fix things but this depends if it does or not.

if you can update bios from windows then its alot easier.

goto you're motherboard's manufacture's website. look under "support" then updates and enter your mobos model.

hahaha... thats not god =)
i think its written in the manual if you got the computer prebuilt.. otherwise it be written on your mobo... just open your chassi and look

Yer... try the manual... Also certain companies provied tools with which to flash the BIOS with... ASUS being one of them

sisoftware sandra will find out what mobo you have... :) dl it and have a look
