I'm interested in getting Bioshock to work with the ProLogic audio setting. To date, the game has only worked with the forward speakers. I'm using Windows 7, 64-bit and the sound card is an X-Mystique (original Auzentech card). This card goes through a TOSLINK cable to a Yamaha receiver. This connection works fine for other programs (typically running as Dolby Digital Live). The drivers for the X-Mystique are the latest (from September of last year for Win7). The image below shows the sound settings for the sound card and Windows. Is there something obvious that I'm missing that would make this not work? The receiver is compatible with both ProLogic I and II.
edit - skip it! I set the number of audio sources to 8. Not sure if this was the fix, but it's working now.
edit - Bioshock has been updated to 1.1.
