Ok anyone else using an anti radeon (mine's HD2600) and getting corrupt graphics on bioshock. For instance the water or shadow textures being ****ed up, and sometimes walls being see-through.

I installed the 'ati hotfix' patch that support recommended; didnt change a thing. Otherwise the game runs alright, if a bit slow.

It seems whenever game developers make games with Nvdia cards,
Ati graphics people get screwed over...

I have a HD 2600XT running 7.12 cats... and get no corruption what so ever. How is the performance in your system?

When u say cats , you mean ati catalyst im guessing? im apparently on 7.14..
My other specs are - intel dual processor 2ghz and 2gb ram. Even so it was running slow on medium graphics.

Well that cant be right... I sure the newest catalyists are 7.12... hmm.

My system is almost exactly like yours, assuming you got a XT and not a PRO, and can run the game well up to 1280 resolution at full graphics. Think you better recheck the driver version. Here is mine for reference. ( Taken from Display properties => Adapter => Properties => Driver )

Driver Date - 12/4/2007
Driver version - 8.442.0.0

In any case you should do a nice clean install of the latest catalysts. Instructions here.

I just finished installing the game. Wow, it's beast. I just killed my first guy. I had to quit as I have some things to do.

I have an ATI X1900GT. It runs great.

I've got either the newest Catalyst drivers, or the ones before that.

Ok ill try that bulletbrain - your right my driver version is older than yours
