Bioshock or Guitar Hero 3?

I'm going to EB Games tomorrow, should I get Bioshock, or wait until the 28th and get GH3 for $100? Both for my 360, btw. I could also get like 15 used PS2 games for the amount of Bioshock.

Other suggestions are appreciated, too.



If anyone says Halo 3, you should get punched in the balls.

P.S. Keep in mind I have no Xbox Live, or highspeed internet, so no multiplayer games (or Orange Box, I'll buy portal and EP2 separate for PC), please.

Seriously, this shouldn't even be a question. Bioshock is a good game, but you'll get a TON more fun out of GH3.

I have finally got a chance to play Bioshock (demo ) and I can say without any shadow of a doubt, get Bioshock.

Partly cause I can't play Guitar Hero. I suck at it.

Bioshock. Guitar Hero is quite fun but Bioshock is a must-have if you want something on par with Half-Life 2's depth or some other fantastic single player game.

You probably won't play Bioshock as much as GH3, but it's a simply mind blowing experience that must be at least played through once. If you really do want GH3 I suggest buying Bioshock then perhaps trading it in for GH3.

Not that I'd ever trade my Bioshock in, mind.

Im not too impressed with GH3 yet..looks like same graphics, an in-game UI that now makes it harder to see your progress, and out of the song list Ive seen so far, I only recognize 2 or 3 songs...

You must play through Bioshock atleast once, it's an essential experience, even if only for the story and atmosphere. That said though, as stunning and immersive as it is, you'll probably get a whole lot more longevity and just plain balls-out fun from GHIII... but it really depends what you're after. Personally I'm waiting for a few reviews to roll out for Guitar Hero before investing in it. Not that there's much they could do wrong with it, but it is under new development, so there's always the chance.

Edit - One question - do you have the guitar for it already, or would you be getting the package?

Halo 3. Seriously, it's some damn fun... just because you think Half-Life 2 is so good that you have to go on the bandwagon and hate Halo 3, doesn't mean it isn't a great game. Hell, look at HL2's AI. They just sort of stand there and shoot at you. But I digress... Of the two, Of course, Guitar Hero 3 would probably be a better choice. Bioshock is one of those games you play through once and go, 'Wait... why was this fun again?' After you know how to kill everying.. the story is great and all, but the gameplay wasn't revolutionary, and most of the plasmids aren't even that good.
