Anybody else read the story about this game in the latest EGM?

It seems really cool, and really scarry.

Basically, your plane crashes into the ocean, and while floating around, you find this Lighthouse.

In the middle of the fricken ocean...

So you investigate the lighthouse and find a diving suit in the lighthouse. You hop into the suit (ofcourse) and dive down to the bottom of the ocean.

On the way down, you pass a billboard...

At the bottom of the ocean, you find a hustling and bustling society. Well, the buildings are all primped and primed for a hustling bustling society, just there's nobody to be seen for miles. I quote EGM, the lights are on, but nobodies home.

It's a utopic 50's society down here. Empty. You explore and, via notes, journals, and newspapers people left around, you manage to get an idea of what's going on.

A while back, a ****load of people decided that they'd take the smartest and most innovative of the worlds celebrities, and create an isolated and utopic society underwater, away from the crapped out human civilization above.

Things go well. Businesses form, highrises go up, and billboards sprout. The society is going well, and so is their scientific studies.

Breakthrough in stemcell researche peoples!!! They've managed to create matter, dubbed adam, that allows them (scientists) to genetically modify humans to make "super humans". Can you see where this is going?

So the subjects get out of hand, and everybody goes into hiding. From what the article says, apparently, the only survivors are children, called "gatherers", who harvest adam off of dead people, other people in diving suits (with guns) called "protectors", who protect the "gatherers" while they come out at night to gather, and the "hunters", who are the genetically modified super ****ers out to kill everything for some adam.

Apparently, the "gatherers" and "protectors" view you as a threat. Same with the hunters, obviously.

So now you're trapped at the bottom of the ocean in this giant dive suit, with people with metallic faces chasing you in dive suits with guns, little children with malformed faces and limbs crawling all over the place eating dead guys, and guys that look dead trying to kill you for god knows why.

SOUNDS SCARRY TO ME!

Anybody else getting excited about this game?

Ha, good stuff, but Raziel is wrong--There are actually a lot of threads on this game already. Can't wait for it though!
