haha I got an e-mail from HL2.net today (automated obviously I guess) saying Happy Birthday!

i thought that was a nice touch....I wondered why they asked you for your birthday.

I was golfing all day!

Yeah, I thought that was nice when I got it a few weeks ago. Cute. Like how you get a little 'happy birthday' in MGS2 if you play it on your birthday (or set the DOB to today's date. But that's cheating).

Since when are they sending out birthday emails? I didn't get one last year :flame:

I remember once I got a birthday postcard from the What Now? (a kids show here) fanclub. That was a great show. I mean it still is, but I can't be arsed waking up at 6am on a Saturday morning to watch it. It was kinda stink though, cause on recieving that postcard I was then stricken from the club

They don't allow members over 16 years of age ;(

haha yea, I have a funny story about that.

My dad is becoming frighteningly forgetful. He knew about my birthday all week and stuff, but he forgot yesterday until my sister's called in the morning to wish me happy birthday. He's lucky I don't care (some people would) and he's lucky I KNEW he would forget. I thought about it once I got the HL2.net e-mail..."Well, at least the computer will never forget" hahaha. Again, not that I cared at all, he has a lot of stuff on the go right now (3 cars to maintain, his and my two sister's cars, also my sister is getting married in july etc etc.)

We're celebrating it today anyways...gonna go somewhere to eat I guess.
