BitTorrent Slow?

I used BT before and got very good speeds, up to 50kb/s in soem cases

With the new one, even with a download with over 96 seeds I can only hit 15?

It directly depends on the upload speeds of the people you're downloading from. I assume you understand how bittorrent works. (i.e. if everyone torrenting the file is on a 56k, you won't get fast downloads, you're downloads will only be as fast as the sum of the upload speeds from your peers).

Yeah, and one reason why you might be getting so low dl speeds is because there are so many leachers around that steal all the speed while giving none.

I upload a bare minimum of 10K/s for each download and I have Emule running but I'm still a leecher says BT's rating.

I uppload at about 20-25kb/s and dl at about the same speed, and my share rating is above 1.

I give 13kb/s for upload just to get the file faster and then I seed for maybe the whole day.
