Bizarre graphics glitch

I've encountered a very weird problem in Half-Life 2. For some reason, everyone's eyes come out completely white, for example Alyx. Iv'e tried every combination of settings, but nothing seems to fix this.

• Athlon XP 2000
• 768 meg RAM
• ATI Radeon 7000 64 meg RAM
• Retail version of Half-Life 2

Urk, that`s freaky. Try deleting the model pak from your Steam folder to force Steam to re-download it.

It could be your graphics card seeing as it DX 7. Try updating your drivers to 4.12 if you havent already at http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

Thanks, I updated the drivers and everything works fine now. BTW, at http://www.ati.com/support/includes/titles/fixed.html it lists a number of bugs that've been fixed by the driver updates.
