BLACK footage

Wow...lots of explosions.

I don't get it though...future...past Huh? It looks like it could be good. Unfortunately it's only for PS2 and Xbox though...

That was...not exactly hypifying...very explosive though.

Consoles only you say? Too bad, It'd be fun to try a demo for PC or something.

To tell you the truth I expected to be more impressed than I was.

Perhaps they can still pull it out of their asses, but it is seriously looking a little generic at this stage.

hot damn .. i wonder if it'll play that good on ps2/xbox :x

i thought it looked great, the decals/particle effecta looked awesome, very cinematic, time to dust the ps2 off...in 2006

Looks good, but is there anything else to it other than shooting and blowing shit up? Looks like it could get boring quite quickly.

wow, if that's PS2 footage, just wow, it's probably Xbox, but still, it certainly looks as good as in the screens and it plays at a good framerate too
I think it'd be funny if this beats Perfect Dark Zero as a better shooter
Man, I can;t wait to see all that fog and explosions on a PS2 while I'm playing it, I'm thoroughly excited

The game looked very very pretty. I just can't see a PS2 playing it, an Xbox..but frames that would stutter though.

Bring on teh PC!

Imagine if F.E.A.R. had that kind of decals, and wreakable enviroment. That'd be awesome.
That looks cool though.

Explosions?? What do you expect from the makers of Burnout? :E

Awesome footage. Thanks.

holy shit, I watched the footage again, but this time read the article about it, the video is of PS2 footage, being played in real-time... f*cking wow, this really is amazing... i love how people find new ways to push old hardware

For current generation hardware, it does look fantastic... but I think the 2006 release date may cause to be its downfall. It'll be too little, too late by then.

Wow, how is that possible! D:

Because the textures and the models are terrible, everyting is blurred by the constant explosions and smoke effects.

Looks good, though I wonder if there is much substance to it. It might do better off on next gen to be honest.

Like Axyon said, if it was released now I can see it being very popular, as the graphics really do look amazing for current generation. But if it's released in 2006, people just aren't going to be as interested in it.

Hehe, that looked awesome. The sound was really well done too.

seconded!

maybe if it came out say in June 2005 with some hyping and the gameplay to back up the graphics and physics it could be a mega-hit, basically its going to turn into Conkers Bad Fur Day on N64 a great game, but swept under the rug by big name next gen releases (see PS2 and XBOX)

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!
Lotsa Boom Boom.

I like it! :)

Actually , it could do kinda well out of being late.
If it comes out around the time of the ps3 then there wont be that many launch titles(of any quality) they could market the fact that it plays better on the new console(the ps3 is still going to be backwards-compatable, right?).

Sorry for bumping, but the same trailer except higher resolution is out. Get it ->here<-. :)

But that's exactly the market Black is aiming for. It's not intended to be an overclock-your-card PC gamer wankfest. PC users have already got games to serve them in this department.

Meanwhile, there are loads of PS2 gamers starved of a meaty FPS. 'Black' is all about pushing the PS2 hardware through the stratosphere in order to serve that market.
