Black Mesa Source ready in time by Episode 3?

I think it would be grand to play HL1 (via Black Mesa Source) through Half Life 2 and Episodes 1-3 in a full weeks time (some of us have jobs ya know).

I just have this feeling BM:S isn't going to be out until after 2007 though

Yeah, the BM(S) forums have had the worst luck with site problems. Strange thing is that when i looked at the offline message, all of a sudden my internet shut down (DSL) for about 5 minutes.

EDIT: I seriously doubt that any dev or mod at the BM forums would tell us to register and post at 5 different locations, ESPECIALLY at a site that has "warez" in the name of it. I definately smell hacks...

You have to remember that Valve have several teams, each on a different episode, and they are being paid to make them full-time.

I'd say two maybe all three episodes would equate to the same time in development as our modification, if we could work full-time on it.

No, they're saying that the forums are offline until the forum updates are in place.

As for who hacked them, a wizard did it. Wizards do everything.

I guess its the problems that come with the territory of having one of the most anticipated single player games out there right now..

They did consider it, and no, they're not doing it.

Half-Life: Uplink might be released as a demo, but that's as far as it goes.

Yes we have considered it, but episodes only work in 3-5 hour long chunks of gameplay, we don't have that option with this modification.

Half-life 2's story could not have been done in episodes for the time length, it would have been stupid. They have changed the story delivery slightly for the episodes which is very suitable. Unfortunately it just isn't for us.
