I just got a new issue of EGM and there's a preview of a game called Blacksite: Area 51 and it looks great. From the screens, it looks like it's taking place at an installation in the Middle East (anyone else tired of this trend yet?). I can't be bothered to search for the screens, but I found this on youtube. This "trailer" is pretty retarded by the way. If you don't want to waste 13 seconds of your life, don't watch this.

I guess it's official, because the creature looks like one in the screens. GameSpot thinks it's a sequel, since it's being developed by Midway, the developer who did the first Area 51. Thank God they dropped the name Area 52.

that didnt even looked ingame

and in the midleast? do osama bin laden is a alien in this game?

That's the impression I'm getting from it. Blacksite is a military term for any kind of "secret" installation, but searching on Wikipedia brings up stuff like Abu Ghraib and "The Salt Pit".

This game was in the new Game Informer and it sounds quite awesome and interesting, pretty topical too. Game's prologue starts in Iraq.

And yes, it appears to be a sequel to Area 51.

Does it say whether it continues with Cole, or a new character?

I'd rather not listen to Dave Duchovny's monotonous voice acting again.
