Blank DVD stuck in DVD Writer!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I went to burn a DVD and the Blank DVD is now stuck in the DVD Writer. Nero froze at 0% when burning. Eject button doesnt work, so i disconneced it from computer and tried emergency eject button (u use a paperclip to push it) and it still wouldnt open. According to the manual with power off the emergency eject is supposed to pop it open a bit. Its an LG GAS-4120B Dual Layer DVD Writer.

Should I just grab a butter knife and go to work on it?

haha, no don't smash lol and I probably wouldn't recommend the butter knife unless you were very very very careful

Its kinda strange that the emergency button doesn't work, have you used it alot in teh past because i know they can break very easily.

yea tried that and disconecting power to. Obviously this is the first thing i would try....

Anyway i got it out and it works fine. Didn't realize u had to push in the emergency eject button a really far away before it worked.

As soon as you shut down the pc, and it turns back on, just start pressing the CD eject button.. my old CD burner use to do this to me all the time.. then i got a new one. : p
