Blank Screen Startup (Not vid card prob)

Well to start off I;ve got a

amd athlon 2200+ running at 1.8gig

512Ram 2700

nForce 2 mobo

ati 9800 128

17" screen

blah blah blah



Anyway I decide its time for more Ram. So I go out and get another stick of 512ram 2700 so it exactly doubles the capacitity. Now I open the comp put in the new ram, boot it up thinking, omg SWG is gunna load in 2seconds! But no, the power light doesnt even come on, althought the busy light does. The screen is blank and the computer just thinks for a second then runs. The dvd and cd drives open and close as if nothing happend. But the boot protocol doesnt do anything.

So, I was like , omfg............, I take out the new ram and leave the old one in. Boot the mother up and what do ya know. still doesnt work. Now, i've build 3 pc's and done all my own comp mods without big problems. The Ram Is ddr and IT CANNOT be placed upside down because it doesnt fit that way. Anyone have anyidea whats going on? Did the motherbored break or something?

Turn the switch off on the powersupply or unplug it and wait for a few seconds. You may hear a small sound from your PSU.
Turn it back on or plug it back in and try to turn your PC on again.
*Do not touch the Red switch*

If that doesn't work then I would also try reinserting the memory and reconnecting the power connectors. Make sure they all have good contact.

Still nothing :\ PSU is 300watt set at 110v since im in america
