Regarding : The Darkness - A thing called Love

Anyone think they're *kinda* riping off Queen? Parts of their music video like the multiple faces, the way they dress, look, etc. ?

I like them and I like the song, but it's a bit similar

I totally fet the queen vibe when i hear them, and i personally love them for it, i mean, there like the new centurys Queen. Now i know thats not possible...takes alot to be bigger then Queen, but there a nice substitute for queen.
I'm not too sure on there album though, i listnened to it, but i was busy doing stuff and my mind was in the clouds, so i need to listen to it again really...

Yes! Exactly. They are brilliant, and if anyones going to copy Queen in that way I'm glad its these guys. Very talanted and altogether a great band and lover's of moustaches and cool costumes.

Why the darkness ARE queen

1) The lead singer is ugly like freddy mercury.

Need any more proof?
Even if he is a funny looking chap they are still the best band around at the moment. And you've gotta love the purple "monster munch" style thing hugging the lead singer (what is his name out of interest?)

The Darkness has brought a little of that magic back to the people who admired Queen.

You cant say queen suck and Red Hot Chilli Peppers rock. It is your opinion and your entitled to it tho. Queen achived so much that they deserve some of you're resepct.
