Blizzard announcement today?

"If you take a look at Blizzard’s online portal site Battle.net today you’ll be greeted with a frontpage similar to the image above. The site is featuring images of several Blizzard characters with a globe and today’s date over their eye. The announcement doesn’t seem to be related to the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion pack, which is due to be unveiled at BlizzCon later this month. And after all, several of the characters that appear on the site’s entrance have no relation to Blizzard’s wildly popular MMORPG."

Well i'm praying for the 3rd coming, hear me o mighty Blizzard!

A lot of people are saying it will be something useless like a new Ladder system. I can certainly see why since apparently Blizzard said about a month ago that today they would be unveiling such a new system. Also because its only on the Battle.net site, if it were going to be really major it would appear on the regular Blizzard site too.

Of course though we shall wait and see.
