Looks like it. Never played Diablo I and II, and don't intend to play Diablo III, so I couldn't care less :P
 
Blizzard need to put all their man-power into fixing and finishing World of Warcraft and its numerous bugs, laggy servers and advertised monthly content (which they've now said will not be a reality) before even thinking about another game. :angry:
 
I don't know, everyone who made Diablo what it was has left Blizzard North so there's a good chance it won't feel like a Diablo game.
 
A new Diablo would be nice - some more populated and believable villages/towns would be good.
 
hopefully they'll go fully 3d this time around

i played the first two...infact recently i got the itch to play Diablo2 on battle.net and am looking for pple to play with.. anyone interested?
 
I really hope they do another Diablo, and if they are they could make it so it looks a little like Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance/Champions of Norrath graphically. But I would mostly like it to stay 2D.

I'm playing Diablo II pretty much, but on the European server.

Well then why would you paly D2? D2 is part 3d.

Which is exactly why ever MMORPG had quite a huge team working on it. That $10 a month pays the programmers, modelers, bandwidth, hardware people, etc...everybody and everything that is currenty for the game. So obviously they will fix it all..


Quite obvious..if blizzard north starts hiring..there gonna probably make another Diablo...

I don't know, everyone who made Diablo what it was has left Blizzard North so there's a good chance it won't feel like a Diablo game.

Cow runs are no longer the popular thing. It's Baal runs everyone does I believe. No, I don't have MSN though.

Most ppl do trist runs, then a couple cows. When you hit lvl 25 you start doing baal runs. You can get to level 80 in 5 hours (If u have a good party). Such a pointless game.

Only if you're concerned about getting a high level fast. If you play like me and my friends and only use the items you find when you start a character and play legit it's more fun. If you start a character and get rushed to 80 in a few hours and have items set out for that character what do you have to work for? Nothing.
 
Never like rpgs and Diable2 was horrible :/ But i will look into this one. Just have a feeling.

hehe i cant help it ..years of 3d games spoiled me ...I just cant get all that excited about semi-3d little warriors running around ...maybe there's a relation between my age and playing games with tiny charcters ;)

It's fun...but... since alot of the community rushes...it makes the game appear pointless. A lot of people play it pointlessly.... It's fun though.

diablo II was fantastic, the expansion was the fall of everything. Diablo III...up in the air
 
I liked D2. Believe it or not, i remember when the trade channel had real people in it! It was fun, I liked LoD a lot. I hope they do another Diablo, i think they can do a lot with the series, and knowing Blizzard it will be a grand slam. Blizzard could make it a chess card battle game and it would still be good, but i hope they stick with the traditional hack and slash RPG with tons of classes and enviornments. D2 was pretty short, and I know that nowadays they could make it a huge sprawling epic with tons of content and stuff
 
The main reason why I don't like Blizzard is because they violated my Fair Use rights.
 
The game will not run properly off of a backup CD. If the CD got scratched, the customer was screwed.

Dude I ran D2 off of a backup cd and virutal drive for about a year straight...
Me and my bro would play on at the same time(we had 2 cd keys.. a friend let us barrow his). He would go on with a cd I copied using Alcohol 120% and I would use another cd. I have a D2 cd that is all scratched to living hell. It pushed me into just making a virtual drive for it.

Just have a friend loan you a cd for a few hours...go dl dameon tools or something and make a virtual drive of it and never worry about it again.


You just used burning software that can't bypass protection. Your fault.
Blizzard does backup cd's, they backup accounts to.
