Bloodlines out earlier than beloved Hl2?

Just checked out the release date for Vampire Bloodlines and it was around early 2004.
Do you think Bloodlines will beat HL2 by being released first?

Would be the first time AFAIK a game with a licensed engine will be available before the game the engine is licensed from..

I doubt it will be out before HL2, im sure theres something in their contract that won't let them release bloodlines before HL2.

No I doubt it, I don't think they are allowed to release it before HL2, they weren't allowed before to talk about Source engine before HL2 was announced.
