I must say that it does look very neat for a first person RPG. They even give kudos to Half-Life 2, although the charactrer models don't look as pretty. I really hope they release a demo for this before it goes gold. Trailer

I think that it looks ok, really gory and sexual, i might try it but probably not. Although them giving props to HL2 is cool, and this game has to come out after HL2 so them saying fall is at least encouraging.

Bleh, sexual and gore are crap in video games. The game sounds like troika will make up for it's disappointment with TOEE. Looks very nice (gameplay, I don't give a rats ass about the graphics).

omg old videos makes Mr. Red cry.

thought it might be new though :)

yeah Im obsessed with Bloodlines, hope it comes out sooner than 2005.

Activision is usually pretty good with delivering games on time. Bloodlines looks pretty much complete as it is though.

looks cool, i want a demo, but i dont like RPG's, but its also a FPS....hmmm

....kif, we have a conundrum [\branigan]

:stare: Looks like they didn't utilize the Source engine good enough to match the look of Half-Life 2. But the gameplay looks cool, I like that telekinesis jumbo. Got some quick questions. In the trailer they showed both 3rd person as well as 1st person view modes we will be able to use both right? Somewhere in the trailer it was mentioned you can play as a vampire or get killed by one, so you may play as a human or vampire? Lastly, this applies to the 1st and 3rd person views... if you ARE able to play as human or vampire will you get 1st person view for humans and 3rd for vampire vice versa?

My questions remind me of interview questions, heh.

Don't know about 1st or 3rd person views, but I do know that you won't be able to be human. Instead you pick from several different vampire races and join a vampire clan, and each vampire can kill a vampire from another race.

just wondering.. Bloodlines' requirements should be on par with HL2's right? or will Bloodlines be more demanding on the comp?

if graphics are any indication then it'll prolly run better on any comp then HL2

Fall 2004 needs to get here faster. Not just for this game, but for most of the games I'm looking forward to this year.

I agree, the character models aren't that great, moreover I didn't see any eye movement..however the lip synching looked on par. The environments look good, but the sky is fictious...If half-life 2 can have such good skies (literally comparable to stalkers), I'm sure bloodlines can buff that up too. Intresting to see an rpg use an fps engine. The monster looked cool and glossy, though.

Because of certain contracts, Bloodlines is going to be released AFTER Half Life 2... so woo hoo I hope valve hurries up!

If they use the same engine and come out at the same time, how come Bloodlines look so poor? it looks similar to the original Max Payne or Deus Ex 2.

Looks really weird. At first I had absolutey no interest in this game, but I'm starting to think it might be pretty fun. I hope they release a demo so I can check it out.

They would have to.HL2 won't be well recieved if a game which was working on it's engine came out before it.

Probably because they are focusing more on the role playing aspects of the game, rather than graphics. Utilizing the engine more for it's facial animation and gameplay capabilities.

With that said, it still looks much better than most games out today.

Great trailer, very cinematic. Looking forward to it :E
