or alternatively, rather than lowering yourself to buy a game that resorted to showing digatal porn images of the main character to boost sales (not to mention the fact its the sequsl to a shite game(, you could just pre order HL2 from gameplay and get it on the day of release, or download it off steam and play CS:S now.

thats a better way to play the source engine that is, presuming it ACTUALLY uses it (this is the first ive heard of it using source). doesnt this come out on consloes too? can they "handle" the source?

It doesn't use source. It uses a modified version of the first Bloodrayne engine. It's called the Infernal engine.

I tried it out and its ok acctually . You can impale some random morons on spikes by throwing them and everything.

And no it does not use source :|

and can someone change the thread title - it's misleading. I almost crapped my pants thinking it was the bloodlines demo seeing the "blood - source engine" part.

The camera is annoying, graphics aren't much to write about, gameplay is good-ish but it would play a lot better if the camera was good (unless I am missing something, is there any way to un-invert the mouse look?)

Yep, the last part was ****ing amazing (don't wanna say anything more otherwise I'll ruin it).

Towards the game, I found myself feeling like playing a bad counterpart of PoP2. The camera was hard to get going, the monsters jumped from the edges of the screen consantly, there are very few combos and cutting body parts of got boring fast.

Neat demo, but defenitly not worth buying.
