"Body of Brain and Gamers probed"

Meh, the only thing games did to me is make me swear a lot more while I play, but I never felt the urge to kill anybody when I lost in CS, plus I feel physically sick when I see real shooting victims (go working in a hospital), and I don't feel a thing when playing CS.

Games have never made me violent, quite the opposite infact, they've curbed my violent streak. Also made me a little smarter too, All those stratergy games and planning ahead and trying to know what other people are thinking. Couple that with business courses and its pretty neat.

Childrens TV however, like Blue Peter.. that makes kids violent, it should be banned from TV should that ;)

But, the article has nothing to do with video games and violence... ;(

Its taking a look at things like the the physiological and psychological effects while the game is being played and comparing them to the effects of playing real life sports.

I unleash the Evil I want to do the world by killing terrorists in Soldier of Fortune. It's basically a very good mood swinger (to better).

This "videogames make ppl violent" is BS. Either you have it or you don't.

Ah hell, just read the article. :D they're right.

For once it is a study that has nothing to do with trying to find out if games cause people to be violent. Most of the stuff it talks about is usually pretty obvious to anyone who has been playing games for along time but it is still an interesting read.
Cause people to be violent? Of course it does!!! But its not against other people. Its against the computer itself.

Besides, we always can say its training. If any terrorist come to my country to grab my flag, I'll just pick up my trusty rocket launcher and start outstrafing their sorry asses...

That reminds me, need to ask our prime minister where our local respawn is.
