Every now and again firefox will just erase my bookmarks..poof...gone.

Anybody have any clue as to why? its the 4th time and im getting pissed off with replacing lost tabs.

Help me D:

I know there's some sort of plugin for automatically backing up bookmarks to another folder, but it never really worked for me, sadly.

Instead, I manually burn a copy of the file to a CD-RW every now and then, in case of harddrive failure. Simply because having my bookmarks backed up in another folder on my harddrive won't really help much if it crashes.

It's caused by the bad karma Firefox gives you. Switch back to IE.

IE sucks
tried out ie7 - sure its pretty like firefox but it crashes ALL THE ****ING TIME
reverted back to ie6 so i could get Euroforce for BF2 - 3 viruses in one hour of browsing!
opera and firefox ftw - and thats no fan boy talk, firefox can be a pain in the ass from time to time too

Whats even worse than you getting 3 viruses in one hour is you actually buying Euroforce.

What the flock? Aren't you running Windows Service Pack 2? I've has IE6 at home for ages, and use IE7 at work, and have been virus-free for ages.

the bookmark erasing thing happens to me too
i think it involves when the pc crashes and firefox is open

yeah i had the same problem before. firefox crashes is the reason.

solution: reinstall a clean version of firefox

Solution: IE is your friend. Admittedly, your ugly friend, but he wants you back.

This has happened to me. There are bookmark backups automaticals stored somewhere in your FF folder.

IE stabbed me in the back too many times. I'll never go back to him ever.

*Watches IE start playing Bon Jovi's "Always" on an acoustic guitar, and crooning ofr Deus to come back*
