This is the 2nd time within a month my PC crashed and upon restarting it would not boot in to Windows. Safe Mode didn't work either, Windows ried this repair thing a few times but it didn't fix the problem it just pointed out that boot critical file d:\CI.dll was the cause. So I had to reformat my PC and now I'm trying to avoid this happening again.I googled around some people say it's a root kit issue others say it's a Windows Update that causes the fatal error.For now I disabled updates.
Oh BTW when this happened the first time I replaced my WD drive thinking it was faulty my main drive is a 1Tb Seagate now so it can't be the HDD.I also did a Memtest and it find any errors.....had anyone else had this issue?
Also the crashes happened both times while I was playing a game.How ever on google I found that it can happen any time.
