Anyone going to see Borat at the releases weekend? Comes out Friday.

I'm rather intrested to see what it turns out like. His interviews can be abit meh repetative in the talk shows but from seeing clips of the movie there looks to be alot more depth to them and other things to.

Hopefully on saturday.

Same here, in Finland that is.

I got a free preview-DVD from supermarket, but the colors and stuff were all fubar. Sound was alright tho, managed to watch it anyway. There was first 4 minutes of the movie (not much more than in 1st trailer and 5 deleted scenes which I had already seen from youtube (got the link from here somewhere).

Definately need to see it asap, but my guess is the cinemas will be packed out. Everyone I know is as eager to see this as I am.

A few friends and I are probably seeing it on friday. Can't wait.

Seeing it this Friday aswell with flat mates.

Watched it here in Belgium. All the camera guy does is film pure, undilated AWESOME. Every scene is so damn good, be it emotionally, politically, or just humourously. Their extreme phobia of Jews is hilarious, and their bathing suits are genius. And he has a chicken in his suitcase

Just a warning to Americans - you probably won't like this - it kinda pokes fun at America(ns). If you're overly patriotic and can't take a joke, just don't go see this.

To the people of the other 192 countries out there, you desperately need to see this.

It only pokes fun at the stupid Americans.

Don't think for a second we're the only country like that :|

But yeah, the movie was incredibly awesome and hilarious.

I realize this is the third Borat topic that I'm posting in, but yeah, it totally delivers. I was sort of worried all of it's publicity would ruin some of the humor, but it's a lot more than just a funny accent and some anti-semite jokes, it's honestly an amazing satire too. And for the record, my sides hurt from laughing so hard. There's not one moment where I just snickered, literally EVERY scene delivered for me, and had me (and the rest of the theater, for the record) in stitches. No one walked out either, or at least not that I saw, even though it was incredibly offensive.

Honestly, see it if it's the last thing you do, it's probably the funniest movie ever made.

If you get made a simple american-bashing joke, Then, well, I hate you. It looks HILARIOUS and I am american and It looks great. I few jokes on myself is funny, sometimes. I remember watching.. the daily show or something, and he was talking and he asked
"I understand there is quite a bit of anit-semetism in this movie.."
"Yes, The kazakhstan (guy who makes sure if movie is appropriate) said there was just enough and let this movie slide."
I started cracking up..

Just been to see this, it is even better than I expected

Seriously f***ing hilarious :D
