Bothersome Op4 bug

When ever I pick up the HEV suit, either in training or the first sp level, op4 crashes and I get this error:

sv_startsound: volume 510


I type sv_startsound in the console and it says it's s unknown command. I can play MP fine because you never pick up the HEv suit, you spawn with it.

Nothing. It doesn't give me everything, cheats are on.

hmmmmm, that's really odd

have you tried reinstalling?

Yeah. It even did it after two steam reinstalls.

I have this exact same bug! I just haven't posted it yet. It didn't happened the first time I played OP4 last year - when I bought the CD, but now that I had it downloaded (formated hard drives before HL2 and redownloaded evrything from Vavle/Steam), I get this error.
Anyone know?

i did this is half life and to fix the problem is to set all of the sound controls to the center then press apply and restart OP4 and it should work fine now with them turned up
