Also called Dark Chronicle.
I bought this game yesterday, and it is one of the best games I've played on the Playstation 2. Really outstanding graphics, gameplay and story.
The thing I really love about this game is that it doesn’t have any kind of random-encounters/battles that you can see in the Final Fantasy games. In this game you fight in real time, so you don’t have to worry to encounter 100 enemies in one area, and get a heart attack every time the screen goes into a battle.
Now I don’t hate Final Fantasy, it’s truly a great series, but the thing is, I don’t like the battles in the game. If Square just could change the battles into real time I would defiantly play it more.
Anyway, Dark Cloud 2 offers you very much hours of gameplay. Myself have played about 10 hours already and can’t really stop playing it.
You can also build your own towns in the game (if you seen Dark Cloud 1 you'll understand), and move people into the town.
The game is so detailed and you can see that Level 5 (the developers name) have really liked working with this game.
Enough talking... hehe.
Here is a review of Dark Cloud 2 from Gamespot, check it out.
