No, actually Google makes bank off this beacuse Yahoo licenses their technology. Actually Yahoo uses a combination of Google tech and their own "human-based" categorization of web pages.

I used Google last night. You'd think that finding the real life photos of all of the actors behind Half-Life 2 would be difficult and take a while because they're much lesser known actors. With Google it took me about 30 minutes.

I have www.google.co.uk as the start page for all my machines IE + Opera, and I have the www.google.com/palm site as the start page on my XDA2 - there's just no competition imo... the only problem is the advertising they add, I hate advertising.

I guess they have to get their money from somewhere though.
