[br]Jonathan Blow's Braid is a multi-award winning title that blends platform and puzzle game play with time manipulation. It's coming to Steam next month using Steamworks for Achievements and other Community features.

The game features a rich story and plays out across seven unique worlds, each its own time-based game mechanic. The Steam version of Braid will also leverage Steamworks for integration of Achievements and Steam Community features.

The game will available on March 31, 2009 for $14.99 (12.99 EUR, 9.99 Pounds Sterling).

Wooooooo!

I love braid, played the first hour and a half and it was SPECTACULAR :)

Will probably be getting it on Impulse though, I love Steam, but those guys need our support. With their gamers bill of rights, they're a pretty awesome company.

The gamers bill or rights they were so magnanimous to lay down without consulting any other developers whatsoever....:dozey:

I guess I'll get this on the Steamage once I've caught up with my backlog of games. Heard a lot about it, and apparently the dude loves Mulholland drive as well, so he can't be all bad.

Marketing. They're just trying to make themselves look like the good guys.

I like keeping all my games under 1 service. I like watching my steam collection expand.

Because they are good guys. They don't do DRM, and they trust their users.

Advocating a monopoly isn't exactly sensible, however good Steam is (which it is).

'm impressed on the fact they've managed to get 3rd party publishers to release their game on Impulse with no DRM at all.
Being able to download a game and play it without internet and additional software is great, shame Steam won't ever let you play games without it running, except for GTA4.
If they can do it then the least Valve could do is stop additional DRM on top of Steam.
I may start using Impulse instead of Steam as Steam is starting to piss me off now.

FINALLY...

I was watching my friend play this on his xbox months ago and I didn't know it would take so long to come to PC.

Oh thank goodness! I was hoping this would come out on Steam.
