Well Ennui you be in America, so pings are always terrible.

My birthday went swimmingly, except for the banana things. We originally planned to have both normal milk choccy and white choccy, but we messed up the milk choc, but luckily enough had enough white to cover all the bananas. They turned out very nicely though, if a bit hard from being in the freezer a little too long.

Gaming was great too. Zombies mixed with simultaneous Heroes 3 hotseating. Didn't have time to play CSS though . Will do that later.

it's rained everyday for almost a month here, it's been the WORST summer in a while. :angry:

It rained today here a little, still warm though but we ended up not playing Zombies! outside, but on the floor in the front room.
Considering we spent all night playing, we didn't finish a game of Heroes 3 or the game of Zombies! . Fun times though.

Is it just me or do you guys feel really awkward about receiving presents on your birthdays? Like even if I don't like it (thankfully didn't happen this birthday), I still feel obligated to really pretend it's the best thing in the world? Weirdly even if I like it I find myself in this same sort of rut, where it might come across I didn't really like the present...

I wish there were less social contract, and if the present sucked you could just say "thanks, but this isn't really my thing."...
For my next birthday I don't think I really want anything off my friends. Money would be cool, specially since I'm a student
