i will not shut the **** up, becuase i think the british were a good part of the game. if you dont like them, then dont play british maps
 
If Valve didn't put them in at the start what makes you think they would now?
 
the brits are not a necessity to the game...but they are a necessity to life :D

the same reason they released the game with 4 maps instead of cs: s's 8-10. they just wanted it out asap and said they might put them back in later.
 
the idea of bringing back the brits its good, but filing an Online petition is about as useful as shitting on a houseplant.
Though I do miss the ensfield rifle....

take a chill pill, I also think that bringing the brits is not important. They should focus on making maps and fixing bugs and that is what they are currently doing, so there's not much to whine about eh.

Anyways, i always thought the Brits were a fun part of the mod. Not really necessary though, but still fun and it colors the mod more.
Hell i'd like it if they include more different Allies, just for the sake of shooting a different face and outfit ;)

I refer to people saying "ZOMFG YOU MUST BRING BAK T3h Brits cause America is BAD CAUSE THEY TOOK THEM OUT" as British pricks.

I could care less if they brought them back.

But saying that the "american pigs" took them out just pisses me (an american btw MR. Brain sergeon) off to no end.
 
I think that Terrance and Philip song ( southpark :p ) should be changed from "Blame Canada" to "Blame America" :p

brits weapons sucked. They better make the sten gun fun, the bren gun fun, and make the PIAT not so crappy. Overall I thought the brits were losers (in-game)

Why?

Well, for one, i've been here much longer than you, and have seen MUCH more "bring back the brits" threads fly by than you have. The racism and ignorance demonstrated towards Americans in these threads is mindblowing. Threads on this and other sites, i've seen people saying "yeah, they just want to make more money, because the american race is more movie like" and "those ****ing american douches don't know a thing about the REAL war".

As for your entire second paragraph, I think it's fairly obvious that you need to get off your computer and go outside. Indeed, you need a life. Bringing back a race in a video game is nothing to "believe in". You don't "believe in" video games. You play them.

I think all of your arguments can be easily explained with:

"You haven't really seen as much of it as I have, so you're just a tad more ignorant".

Same to you 3ssence. You probably haven't seen the worst of these british worship threads.

Don't be silly, everyone knows that since the outbreak of the war American troops were fighting the germans every inch of the way. Infact American forces were the once to storm the Reichstag and not those glory seeking Russians.
 
I think it's fair to say that the Brits AND the Canadians did our fair share of ass-kicking too.. The US didn't win the war on it's own.

yeah, i dont know whats going on in here, but i thought it was common knowledge it was the russians who kicked the overall german armies butt.
They were able to do so because of the western allies ofcourse, but the "heat" was on the ruskies.
Numbers dont lie, the russians had the majority of the german wehrmacht against them. One of the reasons Ardenne offensief didnt work out->germans needed the troops+vehicles for the eastern front. As did they abandon Holland even with the failed Operation Market Garden, because the ruskies were almost in Berlin..

Ya now we own a couple of broken subs and mabye a few warships. We are "peace keepers" remember. We have to have some gay title to cover our asses instead of saying "weak and defensless". I do agree with you though. Canada did own during it's time. Vimy Ridge anyone?(WW1)
 
By the way, Valve is working on British models and maps. In the DOD .gcf I found a British flag indicating such.
