Brutal Legend - Tim Schafer Does Not Advocate The Killing Of Nuns

Wow. I knew the whole concept was very cool, but watching that and hearing how some of their decisions were made about what to include (basically anything that could be on a kick-ass heavy metal album cover!!! :thumbs:) completely seals it for me. This will be a day 1 buy for me.
 
I was very much looking forward to this, but I am not particularly thrilled at the lack of a PC version.
 
I pre-ordered this last month for half off. Rocktober can't come faster.

Mostly an amazing soundtrack, though the exclusion of Dio saddens me greatly. It's odd, considering they used The Mob Rules (one of my favorite Sabbath songs) in the debut trailer. Dio must have pulled out completely when they recast his role with Tim Curry.
 
Wow, how the hell did Emperor and Enslaved get on that soundtrack? Those are bangin' choonz, too, not latter day MTV fodder as with the Cradle of Filth track.
 
Looks boring. That gameplay style is so unengaging for me.
 
If only Schafer was as forthright about his hatred for catholic clergy men/women as Marlowe's Barabus. Nun killing is a goddamn staple.

There are not nearly enough tradtional action/adventure games around these days. I want it!
 
This game looks like a combination of Painkiller and Serious Sam, in third person, with a quality heavy metal soundtrack. Me want. Is this coming for the PC or not?

Anyway I mean it did say "Pre-Alpha" so I'm guessing it's pre-alpha, but there were some kinda patchy looking bits, and I didn't much fancy the voice actor for the girl. Other than that, it looks rather excellent. I look forward to a friend getting it.

No, and that is a true tragedy, because this game looks special indeed.
 
Damn I forgot all about this game. Looks like it can be really fun.
