lately, i have not been having stuttering problems, I dont know if its due to the umpteen different kludges i tried, or what.
but what I am having now, is fairly regular, blue screen of death, with a "page fault in non paged area"... with reference to ati3dua.dll
i am using the 4.11 catalyst drivers on xp sp2.
p4 2.6CPU, with hyperthreading eneabled. 1gb ram.
this reminds me, did anyone try playing with hyper threading disabled? you can set this in your bios. I remember soldier of fortune used to mess up bad with hyper threading enabled(similar problems of in game crashes)
