Ok. I'm finally building myself a new PC. But I could use some help on parts and what not. If i'm missing something, or if something I have in my list sucks, please let me know. I have not chosen a video card since the video cards out now don't impress me. If the cards out now can barely handle Doom 3, then how are they suppose to handle games with the Unreal 3 engine and what not?
Thanks for your comments in advance.

If i'm missing anything I need to build a PC please let me know. If something in this set up sucks hard core, let me know. Thanks. I'll mark off the parts as I get them and show you guys the final product.

Bragging? Everything looks fine. Still need a video card though.

This is my first PC. I did alot of research before I compiled everything. I just want to make sure that If I buy all these parts, sit down one day and build it, I can have this PC up and running. Of course i'll be buying all the parts over a course of 4-5 months.

by that time they will be obsolete, ahahaha. buy midstream parts and upgrade as time goes on

I don't care about the processor and stuff being obsolete, just the graphics card, that is why i'm undecided. I want a graphics card that can run games in the future, not one that can barely run games now.

well do you have any ideas what card youll be getting? like which ones are you debating over?

I'm thinking the next card that ATI releases after the x850. Hopefully by the time I'm close to completing my PC ATI will have already realeased something. If ATI releases nothing in the next year which is highly doubtful, i'll just get the x850 XT.

If it wont be 4-5 months, don't get the parts yet, just save money, parts values and what is out can change pretty dramatically in that time.

if you are getting every single item from newegg, then you haven't done enough research on the best bang for your buck. know that newegg doesn't have the greatest deals on everything.

SLI is just too expensive for my budget. With the FX-55 and everything, that would put me over the top. That's a good idea, I'll just buy most of the parts all at the same time. Thanks for the tip.

Poseyjmac : If you know a site or place with cheaper parts, please let me know. I know Newegg isn't always the cheapest, but most of the time they are. Not also are they cheap, but they are VERY reliable. Not one thing i've ordered from them has been damaged or late. But please, if you know of a place where I can get this stuff cheaper, it would be helpful.
