Burning games. (NOT WAREZ)

Hey guys, it's been a while. I'll save the catching up for later but I'm back for good now to start following this game again in hopes of it being released as said "this summer." However my problem lies here:

I've got Max Payne 2, Raven Shield, Hitman 3, and Far Cry all on the same day. Now, I don't want anything to happen these games so I wanted to make backup copies and use those instead of the original cd's. However, whenever I try to burn them, it either doesn't let me burn, or when I go to play it freezes/doesn't load up/asks for the cd even when its in there/etc. I then learned there's a hidden file on these new games. So, I am now in search of how to make backup copies (not illigal pirated copies), does anyone know how to copy these "secured" games?

well... you really can't... they do something to the physical disk... you'd need a crack... but all you have to do to "secure" the game is get a prog like Alcohol 120% and rip a .ISO file from the disc

if u own the game..it should be legal to download them as warez.. but as thehunter said u prolly need a program like Alcohol 120% to get past those protections..

For the games that ask for a CD when a copy is in the CD drive, you can simply download a NoCD, which I believe are legal (if you own the game). It's a file that replaces the original EXE so that it no longer asks for the CD.

I have a link to a good website but I'm not sure the mods would approve.

But if you search google for [your game] + NoCD you should be able to find something. Some may require other cracks however.

alcohol 120% should backup all of those games, you'll need to find out what type of protection is on them though, and then select that protection type when making the backup in alcohol 120%

fairly certain clonecd hasnt been updated enough to deal with the newer protections, and even when clonecd was somewhat current alcohol 120% was still a better alternative.

Plus, Raven Shield refuses to run with the latest patch if you've got CloneCD installed on your system. Grr.

So if i get Alcohol 120%, I just use that and it will make my backup copies for me? It'll work even with Max Payne 2 and Far Cry?
