Has this ever been answered anywhere..
If I buy hl2 over steam only, am i able to burn it out to cds or a dvd for safe storage in case whatever goes wrong?

And also it would be cool if they included the manual in full color as a .pdf, as i will get my hl2 with an ati voucher.

;)

yes you can burn it, and its about 3gb I think.. so I think they might split up the cache file.. or you may have to do that yourself somehow.

regardless your steam account has all your info, if for some reason you lose HL2 (or anything else you registered) you can simply download it again via steam.

so technically unless your account gets banned for you cheating or something, you can never lose your games :D

I say that we get the ISO and burn our own CD's/DVD's

Hmm I never thought about them including a PDF manual. That would be neato. Since a lot of people, including me, like to get the box, cd's and manual ect, it would be nice to include. Your paying the same money as if you bought it retail, might as well get a manual :D
