Burning Safari

Interesting you should single out burning safari since that uses the same kind of slapstick humar that roadrunner and similar loony tunes use.
Cocotte minute would have been my choice, you won't see that coming soon from hollywood.

and? I love bugs bunny ..what does that have to do with anything? I also like the three stooges .am I not supposed to like simplistic humour?

the reason I first linked to it was because that was the first video I saw because that's what was posted in some other forum I frequent

You said it was a welcome change from the generic hollywood humor, and yet burning safari uses generic hollywood humor.

re-read what I posted I implied that hollywood had generic animation not humour ..and even then I wasnt talking about burning safari but rather the other films in the animation festival link

Burning Safari was fantastic. I loved it.

Is that going to become a full length film? or was it just showing off someones skill?

Either way, it was awesome and i want a pet robot cube little thing :D

I totally wouldn't call that 'simplistic humour" in the Burning Safari short.

Note that the robots use images as their weapons while the ape uses pure brute force.
Yet, despite their differences, both are introduced to identical risk through their curiousity: the robot is struck on the head and the ape's mind is lit on fire - a conflict which culminates with their mutual destruction.
No matter how much the robots try to outpace the ape, he ends up dragging them down.

I wonder if there's some subtext there??/?
