Let me start with a tl;dr - I'm ranting, don't like it? **** off
Let me follow with: burnout 2 is just about the best racing game I've ever played. I never usually last more than a few tracks on a racing game because I can't translate my real life driving ability to a racing game ability, which tends to result in me climbing trees in my car. The same is true of burnout 2, but its the closest I've got.
Now to the rant. Reveloution, blah, up against the wall, blah, the clever dick who thinks nitro is the only upgrade blah.
Seriously, I have pimped out my car with everything BUT nitro, and won every race on the first or second attempt. Suddenly I get to a race where the opponents have upgraded nitro and after 20 attempts I can only manage 2nd! WTF? So I either have to accept my first second place in the entire game, or go grind to buy the NOS? This is not an MMO mother****ers!!!!
Dear flatout 2 devs - I challenge you. We will take 2 identical road cars. You will fit NOS to yours. I will tune the engine, suspension and brakes on mine. We will have a race. I will cream the **** out of you. You will cry and beg forgivness. I will slap you and laugh.
That was tonight drunken rant (And I was sober when I started trying to beat this race). Thank you

srsly tl:dr - Flatout 2 nitro upgrade is unbalanced against all other upgrades put together. Discuss.
