Opinions?

tbh i'm not blown away, but I could be missing something or having expectations too high.

It looks beautiful but it isn't anything all that special. The graphics in games are really starting to all look the same to me. The "wow" factor that came with seeing a game with amazing graphics used to give me no longer seems to exist.

A lot of games don't look that hot in screenshots but when you see it in motion, wow!

I have Burnout Legends for PSP and it's tons of fun. I might buy this one depending on the reviews.

A month ago i'd have been blown away by that, but having had an Xbox360 for a month, I just know it can do better than that. Those screenshots are a disappointment!

Burnout is all about the crashing though, so if you're not bothered about the nice eye candy then im sure it'll be a great game (albeit one you can get the same amount of enjoyment from whilst playing it on a PS2 or Xbox1)

I can't wait for PGR4 and Forza 2 though, these two games will be truely astonishing.

Please take into account that this is a port of Burnout Revenge and not Burnout 4, and it’s not really showing what Criterion is capable of doing with the next-generation consoles.

Can't wait to see Burnout 4. :)

Are we going to see use of the Physics chip? Metal bending dynamically?

This is the only thing I'm looking forward to in next-gen console games. Graphics don't mean crap, I want to see those physics in action, that chip can do amazing things.

I can pretty well guarantee those are pre-modeled damage models. Modular, perhaps, but not physically simulated in any way.

I agree too

I would buy a game for that and that only.

I hope they actually get the license to real cars this time so I don't drive a "Muscle Car" or "Truck"

Dalamari, won't happen.
Why?
Because Burnout is all about the crashes, and you see, the people who produces the cars, don't want them to be damable, that's why in, for example GT4 there's no real damage at all, and in PGR3, it's only minor.
It'd cost'em a shitload more to get real licenses than for say PGR3, seeing as the car producers views it as a wholelot worse to have your car being destructable.:\

I'd love to have real cars too, but it just won't happen.

I'd buy it! Oh wait, i'm not gonna waste hundreds of dollars on a console.

hmpgh nm.

Because you've wasted 1000's on a pc for gaming? ;)

Same. But if god gave me a 360 I'd definately buy this and Revenge.

however, if it comes out for Revolution (Bwahaha Steering wheel pad) then I'd buy faster than you can say "Chuck Norris beats the shit out everyone"

It doesn't look bad for a port. Sexy tires.
I might give this one a go... I loved burnout 3 and I reckon i'd like this.

Bring on burnout 4!
